Bookcases in solid wood
Bespoke and customized Bookcases
Maison GONTIER offers both fixed and modular bookcases. The moduls are made up of 50 cm, 100 cm and 140 cm wide elements to be assembled during installation. These straight elements are complemented by corner modules of the same size. In this way, you can create wall compositions along the entire length of your rooms.
Modules can also be fitted à la carte, with fronts featuring wooden doors, glass doors or drawers. Inside, you can place your shelves as you wish, using wooden racks or cleats on the back of the bookcase.
You can also customize the finish of your bookcase to fit in perfectly with your interior, thanks to the range of wood shades and colors available.
If the modules shown don't match your dimensions or aesthetic requirements, we'll be happy to work with you to create a completely customized bookcase.
Wooden bookcase in cherry, ash and oak
The solid wood used to manufacture our bookcases comes exclusively from French sustainably managed forests. Oak is used for classic and contemporary bookcases. Cherry is a popular wood in the Louis Philippe and Louis XVI Directoire collections. The TRAPEZ collection of connected office furniture uses solid and veneered ash.
Which style for my bookcase: Louis Philippe, Louis XVI Directoire or Contemporary?
Maison GONTIER evolves with the times, offering different collections for different designs. The FLAUBERT and INES collections respectively offer fixed or modular bookcases in cherry and oak in the Louis Philippe style. The DIRECTOIRE and MELANIE collections feature fixed Directoire-style bookcases, from the simplest little open bookcase to the largest 4-door bi-corps bookcase. Contemporary pieces by the designer Christophe Lecomte are proposed in oak and walnut in the SIENNA, STELLA and CANNES collections. You'll find connected models for the office in the TRAPEZ collection in ash and contemporary made-to-measure bookcases in the AUTRES MODELES category.
