Which square tables does GONTIER offer?
Maison GONTIER offers standard square tables in 2 collections. The TRADITION collection offers classic-style square tables in solid cherry or oak. Depending on the finish you choose, you can match them to different styles of dining room. For a more charming interior, choose light lacquers like cream-white or pearl-gray, for example. For a more rustic ambience, stick to warm wood tones throughout the table without using lacquer. For decorative combinations, you can combine a black lacquered base with a chic stained cherrywood top.
The STELLA collection offers a more contemporary design by Vendée-based designer Christophe Lecomte.
Sizes offered on the site range from 100 cm to 130 cm, as these are the most popular models. If you'd like us to customize a table of a different size, please contact us.
What table extensions do you offer?
For the 2 standard collections STELLA and TRADITION, we offer a system of folded extensions integrated under the tabletop. This saves space and requires no special physical effort.
For the TRADITION collection, the tabletop opens in the middle and the extension(s) are inserted between the 2 parts of the top. For the STELLA collection, simply pull out the leg and the extension leaf unfolds between the leg and the fixed tabletop. This eliminates the need to "cut" the tabletop in 2, allowing you to have a long tabletop in one piece.
On request, we can also add "service" extensions stored outside the table if you wish.
